This $16.7 million asphalt resurfacing project, covering Highway 1 from Port Mann Bridge to Golden Ears Way, was a design and build joint venture with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, British Columbia. This roundabout was built for the City of Burnaby and the city's Performance Evaluation for us was 93.74! It converted heavily congested T-intersection near Costco into a roundabout configuration without traffic lights. It was interesting and challenging jobsite due to its very tight and limited working area for large construction equipment, as well as heavy traffic from 3 approaches that gets congested constantly.
